It was a real pleasure to visit 20 Oaks Court in Clear Oaks. We were not sure where to get accommodations at Clear Lake when we began the search. The cabin setting on this large property was just the ticket. They allow up to two small pets. Our 25lb. female dog (Roxie) had the time of her life. A leash is required, but the wildlife is unusual and breathtaking. We saw the quail in the bushes, strutting their stuff across the path (maybe with a little help from Roxieâ??s inquisitive nature). There are probably a dozen turkeys that cross the area one direction around 7:15 p.m. and the other around 6:20 a.m. Then there was that rustle in the bushes, sure enough Roxie & I came upon a Doe. She quickly jolted by us between the cabins and was gone. We brought our ski boat a Barefoot Sanger to the lake with us. They have a dock that you can secure to, during the daytime. Launching the boat was just down the road with adequate parking for the trailer. The lake is reported to have some of the best bass fishing in the state. Some of the areas have calm water that is perfect for what I came for, Slalom skiing. We were able to convince Steve to come out on the lake with Kim. Steve is an excellent driver for those in need of that, which we were. Kim gave us the moral support we needed.
Anytime we were in need of something Steve & Kim were there to help us with our desires. We have done quite a lot of wine tasting and we recommend Ceago Del Lago, Cougars Leap, Tulip Hill and Wildhurst Vineyards. Our visit to Robinson Rancheria Resort & Casino netted us $82 with 25cent slots. Evenings were full of a BBQâ??s delight. The full kitchen with refrigerator and oven didnâ??t hurt either. If ever we found a home away from home this was it. It was hard to leave this paradise to go back to the unreal worldâ?¦
Thanks! Jacques & Barrie
